This is my flying car design I made for my Extension Project. We used tinkercad to design our projects because as an Extension class we thought it would be a cool experience to use something else rather than using scratch and other sites that we are used too. My plan when making my design was to make it kind of like a helicopter car and have some hover ring at the bottom, the blades on top of the car is one of the parts from a helicopter and the hover rings were so that the audience (people watching) know that it can fly and float. The reason why I chose to make a flying car is because, nowadays plane tickets are very expensive and so I thought it would be a good idea to make a design that in my opinion really needs to be invented and I think if it were to be invented it make a huge difference throughout world. It was very fun making this, I had a lot of ups and downs when I was making this but I got it done just in time. Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a great day!
For Extension this term we had to make a design of things that are futuristic and haven’t already been invented. Everyone had to choose one invention that they wanted to design, as you can probably tell I chose to make a flying car. This is a video of the process of making a cardboard Shelf. For our DLO we had to make something that would help our school to be a better place. At first we wanted to make a mini student kitchen, but then because it was a little bit hard to make we decided to make a shelf instead. Although there were a lot of ups and downs we still managed to get it done and on our blog as a GROUP!. A 20 minute city is a healthy and safe environment, because all the shops and malls and other places are within a 20 minute range, therefore we won’t need a car to get to the place we would like to go. Meaning, there would be less air pollution, which also means that we have healthier air to breathe in. |

In a 20 minute city, it can help us have a more healthy and balanced lifestyle, because everything is within a 20 minute range, we can either walk or cycle. By doing this we are able to access our daily needs, and also get exercise at the same time. We are staying active by doing the things like, going on walks or riding a bike. |
