This is my flying car design I made for my Extension Project. We used tinkercad to design our projects because as an Extension class we thought it would be a cool experience to use something else rather than using  scratch and other sites that we are used too. My plan when making my design was to make it kind of like a helicopter car and have some hover ring at the bottom, the blades on top of the car is one of the parts from a helicopter and the hover rings were so that the audience (people watching) know that it can fly and float. The reason why I chose to make a flying car is because,  nowadays plane tickets are very expensive and so I thought it would be a good idea to make a design that in my opinion really needs to be invented and I think if it were to be invented it make a huge difference throughout world. It was very fun making this, I had a lot of ups and downs when I was making this but I got it done just in time. Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a great day!

• Prime minister walks into his office and sees a letter from the kids of Pt England School –

 

Prime minister : Hm? What is this interesting letter?

• The Prime Minister continues to open up the letter and says “ohhh?”

 

Dear Future Government 

On behalf of our school, we would like to thank you for everything you have done for us. But there are things that should be changed. Here are some things that us Pt England students would like to share with you, that we think should change…

 

Things that are important to ( 11- 13 yr olds)

We might look tough and that negative things can’t hurt us, but these hurtful words can really affect our mental health. Which is a problem for a lot of people and could lead to depression and trust issues. This nonsense needs to stop because this is actually a thing that happens to people on a daily basis!  

Issues that may be important to our parents, aunts, uncles and teachers.

A problem that may need to be solved is how older people have to take bigger responsibility by taking care of younger ones! But since the prices of most things have gone higher it may be hard. So this is one thing that needs to change back to its normal, Please make this happen! 

Issues that may be important to people who are retired (65+)

For retired people they might also need support in what they do. For example they may need help with things with taxes, insurance, and more. 

Issues that are important to toddlers. 

Toddlers can be really picky and spoiled throughout their childhood which stresses the parents! Here’s some advice that us Pt England students would like to share with you! First, 

You are doing an amazing job as our prime minister, all we ask is that you consider these things! Thank you, God Bless!

Today in extension, we were working on our Manaiakalani film festival, we had to create a script. We all got put into groups in my group it was me, Amira, Eleni and Lynette and we all worked hard on this together. Today in Extension we got gifted a pedometers from Synergy Health, Even though I wasn’t there, I would like thank you for giving us these, We are very thankful for what you have taught the extension class. We will never forget about what you have done for our school! For those who do not know what a Pedometer is, its a little Device that can count your steps, Have A Blessed Day! Dear New Government…

This term for extension, we are learning about the parliament and government. Since I was away last week, in extension we did this  Jamboard, we wrote down  a lot of ideas that were related to the topic we were given. Today at Extension we were given for topics Sustainability, Social Consciousness, Culture Appropriation, and Anything else, fashion and culture. We had to find the connection between those connections and fashion. It was kind hard but then one you get the hang of it and know what it means, then you’ll okay. Y7&8 Extension – Fashion

Today for Extension, I had to look at different kinds of protest and research what date it ended and start, after that I had to put them all in order from the earliest to the latest.
