Extension Project Part 2

This is Part 2 of my Extension project for term 2. As you probably already know, I chose to do a South Korean Hanbok, I am now finally finnished with my Extension Project for term 2. The main thing we had to focus on is Sustainability, Culture Appropriation and Social Consciousness. For Sustainability: The material used to make the male Hanbok, is called silk and muslin. Muslin is a fabric of plain weave. For Culture Appropriation: The Hanbok can be work by any male, In fact there are a lot of people who wear a Hanbok. For Social Consciousness: If you would like to wear a Hanbok in public you can. Just wear it respectfully and carefully. You will find all this info on the drawing I have made, (I designed a male Hanbok).

Dawn Raids Information Writing

My Extension Project

This week we started our Extension project for term 2. I chose to do a South Korean Hanbok, I am finally Finished. This is my Research: The Hanbok, is traditional Korean clothing. In Korean Hanbok means Korean Clothing. Children wear Hanbok on their first birthday and adults wear it for their wedding ceremony or major events within the family, including funerals. In the Joseon Dynasty were used to signify an individual’s gender, social class, marital status, and age. Hanbok can be worn by anyone, is it not only south Korea and north Korean. We had to focus on three things, Sustainability, Culture Appropriation and Social Consciousness. Here some of the things I have written . Sustainability: The material used to make the Hanbok is Silk and Cotton. Culture Appropriation: If you would like to wear a Hanbok you would have to wear it respectfully and wisely. Social Consciousness: The Hanbok can be worn anywhere, and used for anything like ceremonies or Halloween. Now I will be focusing on making a Hanbok for males.

Fluency & Expression reflection

This week Our literacy class were all  focusing on Finnish our work before the end of this week. This is me rating myself on how my recording went and how good we were on Fluency and Expression, This is how I think I went, this is me reading a book that were assigned to us to read.

Answer the following questions about Seventh Grade.

 

Question Answer
What background information do you learn about Victor? He really likes Teresa, and will do anything to be with her.
When the boys scowl, the girls look at them. What might the girls be thinking? “Why are they doing that with their faces, Their so weird, they are trying so hard to impress up”
What obstacles are getting in the way of Victor making Teresa “his girl”? First obstacle is that Teresa doesn’t notice him that much . Second obstacle is that he is in French class and he is trying to show Teresa that does it which he does not.
How does the tension increase now that Victor and Teresa are in the same class together? The tension increases a lot because the more victor see’s teresa the more he wants to impress him.
Why did the teacher turn his back and walk to the blackboard? The teacher turned his back because he knew the victor didn’t actually know how to speak french.
The French teacher, Mr. Bueller, realises that Victor is faking his knowledge of French, yet he does not let on about it. What impression does Mr. Bueller’s action tell you about him as a person and as a teacher? Mr. Bueller is a teacher who loves to teach French, but he doesn’t like wasting his time on students who actually want to learn french.

My outfit design (Not Finnished)

This week we started our Etension project for term 2. This is wheere I’m at right now, I haven’t quite finnished but I’m getting there, I have chosen to do a outfit from Korea. Right now I’m just adding the patters to the Hanbok. Once I’m done I tink I might Just try add m0re and more detail to make it stick out. Thank you for visiting my blog, It was very fun making this!
